Plate steel is formed from a large coil of flat steel processed through very large machines that cut it to size and flatten it.  Plate steel is defined by thicknesses ranging from 3/16” up to 16” thick!  Plate steel can be a great choice for your project if you need the ultimate strength or the versatility of cutting and bending many small parts cut on a plasma table, a laser, or even an oxy-acetylene torch.  Many uses of plate steel include decorative truss plates, table tops, off-road armor, 4×4 skid plates, bracketry, artwork and security doors/ gates.  Plate steel comes in 48”x96” (4’x8’), 48”x120” (4’x10’), 60”x120” (5’x10’) Call us to check availability of plate steel.
