Flat bar is a common choice for fabrication it can be used for making mounting tabs, baseplates, decorative trim, railings, structural stiffeners, lock bars, artwork, and fencing, it is measured by the thickness and the width of each piece. Flat bar comes in 20′ lengths and is easily cut, shaped and drilled.
